The most important thing is safety first. Keep your cell phone charged and have a way to charge your phone on your boat so you can call for help.
Your trolling motor will only last for a limited time, in most cases, so it’s best to not try to troll back to the ramp unless your close by. Once your trolling motor dies you will have no control of your boat and could cause damage, or worse, put your life in danger.
