The BEST Summer Time Bass Fishing Techniques!!!

Offshore Lou and I were fishing Lake Hampton with some of the techniques that work the best during the summertime. With the water temps rising getting into the 90’s and high 90’s for the overall temperature for the day a lot of these bass have moved offshore especially on deeper clearer lakes like Lake Hampton in North Central Florida. We have hooked into a lot of really good sized fish mainly fishing brush piles no matter what time of year it is. This lake has tons of fish that don’t see much pressure at all since it has a small boat ramp so no one holds tournaments there and its really limited to how many people can actually fish it on any given day. Throughout the year the fish are primarily offshore, it has tons of brush piles with cleaner water and some pretty good depth for a Florida Lake. It has a lot of really good sized bass in it as well like the one Offshore Lou hooked into in this video and a bunch of others that we have either caught or just hooked into and lost. I lost a fish about this size earlier this year and we both had an epic day where we caught a crazy amount of bass during the coldest days of the year when people thought bass weren’t eating. Lake Hampton is by far one of our favorite lakes to fish just go fish it for yourself and find out why!!!
